Welcome to the Life Pharmacy Walk 100km for Jack & Jill Challenge!
This September, Life Pharmacies across Ireland are stepping up — literally — to raise funds for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
Together, we’re inviting staff, customers, families and friends to join their local Life Pharmacy team, walk 100km, and raise money to fund vital in-home nursing and respite care.
Every €18 raised helps support one hour of care for a Jack and Jill child. Our goal? For each of our 100 Life Pharmacies to raise enough to fund 100 hours of care — that’s time, comfort and relief delivered straight into the heart of the home for families across Ireland.
Join us. Walk with purpose. And let’s make a real difference — one kilometre at a time.
Hear from Dr. Ciara Kelly, our Walk 100km challenge for Jack and Jill ambassador!

You’ll fund three hours of care, giving a parent time to rest, recharge or simply catch their breath.

You’ll give a family eight hours of overnight care – offering them a rare and precious full night’s sleep, knowing their child is safe.
What service does the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation provide for families?
Jack and Jill is a nationwide charity that funds and provides up to 100 hours per month of in-home nursing care and respite support to families caring for children, up to the age of six, with severe learning disability associated with complex medical needs. Typically, these children may be tube fed, oxygen dependent, may not sleep, take seizures, need a lot of medication and require around-the-clock care. Understandably, their parents can be exhausted and need a break, which is where Jack and Jill come in.
With your help, we can give those families vital time out for parents, so that they can recharge, take a much-needed rest, meet a friend for a coffee, spend quality time with other children or do some errands – the things some of us take for granted that are simply not feasible for the families under Jack and Jill’s care.
Jack and Jill’s service operates seven days a week, with no means test, no red tape, and no waiting list. Another key part of the service is end-of-life care for all children up to the age of six, irrespective of diagnosis, empowering parents to take their child home to die at this most difficult time.
